The third Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting for the project took place on January 15, 2025, at Jungle Lodge, Panbang Zhemgang. The meeting was chaired by the Dasho Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MoAL) and attended by key PSC members, including Dzongdas and Dzongrabs from four project landscape Dzongkhags, as well as directors from DoPH, BFDA, MoH, DoA, DoL, DAMC, and a representative from the World Food Programme (WFP).

The primary objectives of the meeting were to review the progress of the project, launch its website, seek endorsement for the Annual Work Plan and Budget (AWPB) for the fiscal year 2025-2026, and provide guidance to ensure effective project implementation.

During the meeting, the AWPB, Annual Procurement Plan for 2025-2026, and Agriculture Resilience Plan (Version 1.0) were successfully endorsed. In addition, the committee approved essential guidelines for developing Gender and Youth Inclusive Hubs, the Project Procurement Plan, AWPB preparation, and the Terms of Reference (ToR) for the Technical Working Group (TWG) and revised Project Implementation Manual (PIM).

This meeting represents a significant milestone in the project’s implementation, establishing a strong foundation to achieve its objectives and milestones.
