IFAD Country Office for Bhutan and Nepal is fielding Projects’s First Supervision Mission from 23rd April to 4th May, 2024 to review the performance, assess the overall progress and to examine the likelihood of achieving the project development objectives of the projects. The mission team is lead by Mr. Rami A. Salman, Project Managemebt Soecialist (Team Leader), Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Shrestha, Value Chain Specialist and Mr. Nirajan Khadka, Clinate Change Specialist.

Day 1: Mission met with the PMU Staff where the mission was updated on the project progress and finalized the agenda at Hotel River Valley, Khuruthang, Punakha.

Day 2: Mission had a meeting with the project focals from pertaining agencies followed by a field excursion to Bajo ARDC. The meeting team was joined by WFP focal and was updated on the progress of Technical Assistance, especially on CLEAR exercise where the studies will be a kickstart for the implementation of project activities.
